Who needs licenses and permits when visiting Florida?
Non-residents who are 16 years of age or older are required to have Florida licenses and permits to participate in freshwater fishing and saltwater fishing.Your price should be as little as $17 for a 3 day license or $30 for 7 day license A 'NO FEE' Shoreline fishing license is available for Florida residents only.

- Out-of-state fishing licenses are not valid in Florida.
- A fishing license is required to attempt to take fish. If you cast a line or catch and release, you need a license.
